Because we can’t live on cocktails and canapés forever

Why wait until January to start eating healthily, when there really is no time like the present. The year is almost over, and after all those art fairs, we are 99% sure that you ate way more junk food than you care to admit. All those canapés, cocktails and late night junk food binges aren’t so great for your body, or your skin, so here’s our list of healthy grams to get you inspired into eating better.

GARLIC BUTTER CHICKEN BITES WITH ASPARAGUS By: @eatwell101 ???? @eatwell101 . Garlic Butter Chicken Bites and Asparagus – So much flavor and so easy to throw together, this chicken and asparagus recipe is a winner for dinnertime! Chicken bites are so juicy, tender, and delicious you’ll eat them hot right off the pan! This low carb, keto-friendly one-pan dinner is ready in under 30 minutes. If you’re super hungry, serve on top of cauliflower rice. Enjoy! . Full recipe with directions on @eatwell101’s blog. Link is in their bio! . Serves: 4 INGREDIENTS: 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized chunks 2 bunch of asparagus, rinsed and trimmed 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 teaspoon olive oil 2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or Herbes de Provence 1 tablespoon hot sauce, optional (we used Sriracha) 1/2 cup (125ml) low-sodium chicken broth (or white wine) Juice of 1/2 lemon 1 tablespoon minced parsley Crushed red chili pepper flakes, optional Slices of lemon, for garnish . For the chicken seasoning: 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper 2 teaspoons onion powder . Check out @eatwell101 for more. Enjoy!

???? HAPPY WORLD PASTA DAY ???????? To celebrate with @barilla I’m sharing this super simple, delicious pasta recipe that you all helped me create with my instagram poll! The vote on tomato pasta or creamy base was so tight I went for both ????. A creamy sun-dried tomato garlic sauce with roasted broccoli, chilli flakes and fresh parsley. Honestly really simple and so soo tasty!???? #barilla #barillawpd #worldpastaday ???? Recipe: 1/2 cup cashew nuts (soaked for at least 2 hours) 230ml water 1 tbsp tomato puree 2 tbsp nutritional yeasts 200g sundried tomatoes, roughly chopped (if they’re really tough soak them in hot water for 5 minutes) 3 cloves of garlic, finely slices 1 head of broccoli, roughly chopped 250g Barilla Penne Rignate Handful of fresh parsley, chilli flakes Serves 2 ???? Method: Preheat oven at 180 degrees c. Roughly chop broccoli and place on a baking sheet with a drizzle of olive oil salt and blackpepper. Place in the oven for 10 minutes until broccoli has lightly roasted. Place cashew nuts into a blender with water, tomato purée and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and blitz until smooth. Boil water in a large pot, season with salt and add pasta. Cook until aldente. To a pan, sauté garlic in olive oil for 3 minutes then add in sundried tomatoes and mix. Pour in creamy cashew nut mixture into the pan with the sundried tomatoes. Mix in nutritional yeast, season to taste with salt and black pepper. Once the pasta has cooked, drain, then add the pasta into the pan with the sauce. And finally mix in roasted broccoli. To serve, plate up the pasta, sprinkle on chilli flakes, fresh parsley, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and cracked black pepper. #ad

I was really feeling the need to make something fresh and juicy today! It seemed a bit crazy with the fresh????and juicy????weather outside???? but this was a craving that I needed to satisfy???? Here’s the blend up: 1 cup frozen blueberries 1/2 frozen banana 1 frozen, activated oat cube 1/4 cup hemp seeds 1 scoop sprouted pea protein powder 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. ground flax pinch of sea salt Water to blend ???? Topped with: 1/2 fresh Banana handful frozen blueberries handful buckwheat balls shredded coconut almond butter dried calendula ???? The French are known for their gastronomy, so we couldn’t complete this list without a trip to France. Clementine Vaccon certainly lives up to our ideals about French food, yes it’s delicious, but her dishes are much lighter and definitely healthier than the cream and cheese we’re used to.
