To be honest, there aren’t that many impressive art apps out there, but a few new ones have caught our eye, thanks to Artsy’s recent roundup.
Try the new Are.na app for artists, which helps you organize links, video and images into mood boards and “channels,” that strikes a resemblance to Pinterest.
Or try the Daisie app, which aims to help aspiring creatives launch their careers. It’s co-founded by Maisie Williams, an actress who plays Arya Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones. We’ve removed follow counts: Your profile grows with the amount of connections you make,” Williams explained via Twitter. “Think Reddit AMA with a splash of Masterclass.”
Also check out the Paste app, “turn anything into slides,” which is sort of like PowerPoint for smartphones – it allows you to turn screenshots, jpgs and videos into a slideshow. It’s great for test driving a new series, a concept or a proposal for its first draft.
Ready, steady, app & go.
