The self-proclaimed ‘unclassifiable artist’ Andrés Reisinger has taken over cities worldwide by giving buildings a millennial pink fluffy makeover.
The images are somewhat comparable to Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s iconic landmarks wrapped in fabric, however, Andrés’s are not real – well not in this universe…
Andrés (b.1990) rose to prominence on Instagram for his dreamy renderings ( he currently has 158K followers). Today he is one of the world’s most sought-after digital artists. It would be best if you had the designer on your radar in 2023 – he is one of the 100 best designers and creative people from interior, architecture, and design, selected by Architectural Digest.
Originally from Argentina, he now creates carefully curated projects from his studio in Barcelona. His instantly-recognizable dream-like images have drawn interest from many prominent collectors, brands, and international art galleries alike.
As his pieces that use the medium of NFT continue to fetch handsome figures and his exhibitions and collaborations proliferate: Too Much, Too Soon! at Nilufar Gallery (2022 – Milan, IT) Let’s Get Digital! at Palazzo Strozzi (2022 – Florence, IT) Somewhere Ethereal at Fotografiska (2022 – Stockholm, SE) – the cultural appetite for Reisinger’s invented worlds is only set to grow.
