Long term Liste director, Peter Bläuer, who also co-founded the fair, retired earlier this year and just last week, we learned who is the lucky one to follow. The fair announced that Joanna Kamm has been hired to replace him, starting September 1.
Kamm is a former art dealer who founded Galerie Kamm in Berlin in 2001 and operated it through 2014. Most recently, Kamm co-curated a show at BNKR Munich, titled “Stop Making Sense, it’s as good as it gets,” which included a series of events exploring art, architecture and literature.
Kamm was selected by a committee of six.

The Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles has added Andrea Fraser, Berry Stein, and Joel Lubin to its board of directors.
Fraser is an artist, writer, and professor and art-department chair at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Stein is an artist and teacher and currently works for the L.A.-based nonprofit Inner-City Arts and just recently moved to the city from New York, where she had previously partnered with the Whitney Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art on educational programming.
Lubin is the co-head of the Motion Picture Talent Department at Creative Artists Agency, where he works with celebrities like Tom Cruiseor David Oyelowo.
“This is a great milestone for the ICA L.A. as we celebrate our inaugural year in downtown,” the museum’s board president, Laura Donnelley, said in a statement, referring to the institution’s recent rebranding from the Santa Monica Museum of Art in 2016 and subsequent reopening in a new space last year.
The Dallas Museum of Art has named Michelle Rich as assistant curator of the arts of the Americas. Rich, who will begin at the institution mid September, joins the museum following her postdoctoral curatorial fellowships, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the San Antonio Museum of Art.
Additionally, the museum announced the hiring of Amir Tabei as director of informational technology and digital media.
