We might know Kim Gordon as the bassist from Sonic Youth, but after a 30-year career in music, she recently returned to painting.

“I kind of always thought: ‘I’m an artist making music,’ she says. Now, after penning a memoir, modeling for Kenzo and starred in a Gus Van Sant film, “Lo-Fi Glamour” just opened at the Warhol Museum in Pittsburg.
Gordon is showing her text-based paintings, Twitter drawings and sculptures. The exhibition includes a pair of Gordon’s boots, autographed by Warhol in 1978.

“I was interested in the lo-fi take on popular culture that Andy Warhol represented,” said Gordon in a statement.
