This week, the fashion and art worlds were abuzz as Jacquemus, the beloved Parisian brand renowned for its dreamy aesthetic, unveiled its latest masterpiece: the enchanting new office space in the heart of Paris. Through a series of Instagram posts, founder Simon Porte Jacquemus offered a glimpse into the surreal oasis that is now home to the brand’s creative endeavors. Nestled in the heart of Paris’ 8th arrondissement, the fashion house’s new office is more than just a workspace; it’s a testament to visionary design and artistic curation.
Designed in collaboration with the renowned architecture and interior design firms OMA and UNISPACE, the office space embodies the essence of Jacquemus’ founder, Simon Porte Jacquemus, known for his dreamy aesthetic and evocative collections.
At the heart of the office lies a masterpiece: the sculpture L’Air (2e état), 1938–1939 by the esteemed French artist Aristide Maillol. This iconic piece sets the tone for the entire space, where every detail is carefully curated to reflect Simon’s distinctive vision, from the artwork of Miró to the timeless elegance of Pierre Chareau’s furniture icons.
Simon’s personal touch is evident in every corner of the office, with curated pieces from renowned artists such as David Hockney and Wolfgang Tillmans adorning the walls. The space seamlessly blends the avant-garde with the timeless, creating an atmosphere that is at once modern and classic.
But beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Jacquemus office is a hub of creativity and collaboration. Custom coffee stations and versatile meeting rooms foster an environment where ideas can flourish, while asymmetrical arches and curved corners add a touch of whimsy to the traditional structure.
