New York is full of rats, it’s practically the mascot of Manhattan.
The Canadian artist and illustrator Natalie Anne Howard has tapped into our global affection for these furry creatures in her latest art zine, “FROM GARDENS WHERE WE FEEL SECURE,” which was just published as part of her residency at the Marfa Studio of Arts.
The publisher says “The zine is inspired by the blooms and critter movements of spring gardens, featuring 28 original paintings and a poem by artist Sojourner Truth Parsons.”
