The famed hip hop power couple are also avid art collectors. Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys graced the cover of Cultured Magazine, where they have restaged a shoot by famed African American photojournalist Douglas Parks (the couple are co-chairs of the Gordon Parks Foundation). The photo features them posing as Kathleen Cleaver and her former husband, the late Eldridge Cleaver, made in 1970 when both were leaders in the Black Panther Party.
That’s not all: Swizz’s art collection, The Dean Collection, will debut its first exhibition in the spring with the Gordon Parks Foundation, it’ll be at Harvard University’s Ethelbert Cooper Gallery of African and African American Art.
