“Exposed: The Naked Portrait” is an exhibition of “unclothed portraits” from the National Portrait Gallery in London on view at the Laing Art Gallery in the UK.
Featuring everyone from Kate Moss to David Beckham and David Bowie, the exhibition features over 80 celebs from pop music to sports, fashion, and of course the art world.

Among naked artists like David Hockney, Annie Leibovitz, Tracey Emin and Mario Testino, also catch photos of Yoko Ono, John Lennon, Naomi Campbell, Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall in the exhibit, which its curator Amy Barker says: “Naked portraits can be flattering or honest, seductive or shocking, vulnerable or liberating. Nakedness is associated with authenticity – ‘the naked truth’. In contrast, the nude belongs to a tradition of idealised figures that extends back to ancient Greece. All of the images in Exposed are naked portraits rather than depictions of the nude.”
