Dita Von Teese, the ultimate style symbol for our generation, has turned to French pop. The vintage star, who is on tour in Australia promoting her one woman show Art of the Teese, is now also a singer. She is releasing her first album with Paris producer Sebastien Tellier, which comes out on Friday. Their new single “Porcelaine” is a dreamy hit filled with the burlesque star whispering sweet nothings over 1990s beats. But don’t take it to heart. “I would never dare say such things in real life,” she recently told Rolling Stone, “and if I ever really felt like making such declarations of love, I would likely restrain myself right away.”
