Monet x "Call me by your name"

“This is the spot where Monet came to paint,” a quote from the novel “Call Me by Your Name” – movie of the same name has become a heat almost everywhere. Not only is this a poetic line, but also the artistic inspiration for 22-year-old Filipino creator, Mika Labrague. She has created an Instagram account “Call Me By Monet”, showcasing her re-created images of scenes from the film juxtaposing on some of Monet’s 19^th-century masterpieces. We see the beauty of art meeting art. Either you’re a Monet lover or you’re one of those charmed by the movie/novel – or you’re simply both – this is your thing to follow!
