German Socialite Accused Of Profiting From False Art Sales
Last year it was Anna Delvey, this year it’s…Angela Gulbenkian. According to The Art Newspaper complaints have been filed against Gulbenkian – who married into the legendary art family that founded Lisbon’s Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation – of fraudulently selling an Andy Warhol print, taking the money without producing the art. Tilda Swinton Sells Art To Save Artist’s House
Tilda Swinton, along with Wolfgang Tillmans, Jeremy Deller and other key art world figures have launched a campaign to save the house of British artist Derek Jarman. Among incentives to donate to save Jarman’s cottage, are works by famous artists as well as tickets to private film screenings.

You may have seen an image of Bella Hadid covered in paint on your IG feed. Well, that’s because the model shot the latest Miu Miu ad-campaign in the house of Spanish sculptor Xavier Corbero. The brand explains: “Creative freedom and expression – at times spattered and hand-painted, with mismatched buttons, ‘collaged’ ruffles, done and yet undone – is contrasted with the discipline of form, silhouette and utility found in the examples of workwear and uniform.” Perfect for art girls then!

The Sotheby’s galleries in Paris were transformed into a runway for Alexis Mabille’s couture collection this week. The gowns were paired with jewellery from the upcoming Joaillerie sale, which will take place on April 1.
