Andy Warhol’s muse and an artist in his own right, Jean Michel Basquiat is getting his own exhibition at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, which opens this fall.
Opening October 3, the exhibition will show over 100 paintings by the artist on the museum’s four floors, including works from Vuitton’s own collection alongside early graffiti pieces from the 1970s to oil paintings, sculptures and videos. An icon for hip-hop culture, this exhibition is bound to delight with energy, color and style, as Basquiat would have wanted.
