And "Apeshit" was behind the huge success.
Art Stuff 06 Jan 2019

Unless you lived under a rock last year, you most likely watched The Carters‘ legendary “Apeshit” music video which debuted last summer.
Almost 150 million views on YouTube are one thing, but furthermore has Paris iconic Musée du Louvre just announced that thanks to the video clip filmed at the historic site, the museum has reached a new visitor record.

In 2018 alone, the museum noted a record of 10.2 million visitors – a staggering 25-percent spike from the visitors in the previous year. Following the release of the video, the Louvre had started to offer a tailor-made tour that guides guests through the art pieces being featured in the clip.
“No other museum in the world has ever equaled this figure,” the Louvre comments when discussing the popularity of The Carters’ unique site tour.
