Come As You Are: These Artists Tell You to Accept Your Body
The essence is having an open mind and truly being yourself

Expect to see images of fat and slim, old and young beauties in this exhibition, “Come As You Are” – the latest exhibition curated by GIRLS, who gathered 23 artists to tell their experience on body positivity.

“You’re still just as worthwhile as the person next to you no matter what’s happening inside, outside, or to your body” – that’s what the body-positivity concept is supposed to tell. Or, to put it simply, it is body acceptance.

Since years, there is this body-positivity movement going on while thousands of women nowadays are still too much bound by self- or others’ perceptions of their own bodies.

Perhaps more people just need to see and understand the idea of body positivity. This exhibition can be one of the means.

The essence is an open mind that stops judging, and truly being yourself as the one-day show asks you to “come as you are.” Still too aware of your own bodies? There’s a cool DJ lineup to make you relaxed. 😉
