The famed Young British Artist Damien Hirst is building a new studio in London, expected to open next spring.
The artist, known for his sharks, sheep and pickled basketballs paid roughly £40m for this Beak Street location in Soho.
It is being designed by Stiff + Trevillion architecture firm and is a Picasso blue period sort of cobalt building with glazed bricks on its exterior, which were made in Holland. The £40m building is currently being built, so stop by if you’re in the neighborhood to check it out.
