One of France’s most well-known perfumeries opened a boutique in New York City, which is unlike any other in the trendy downtown area of SoHo. The new Diptyque shop features the brand’s famous first scent L’Eau, which they launched in 1968, among countless of others from the past half-century. Guests are asked to make drawings and leave them at the boutique; one will be interpreted into a scent later this year. This three-month pop-up also celebrates the brand’s 50th anniversary, so stop by to try out both the old and new scents brought to New York. That makes it certainly worth a visit.
