News 15 Apr 2019

From portraits of the president to mock paparazzi shots and a mint coin,  the Spring/Break Art Show, which runs until March 11 at the 866 United Nations Plaza in New York City, was the best art fair during Armory week. The art show hosts artwork by over 400 artists and 100 curators for an exhibit themed around ‘fact and fiction.’ The highlights included a giant fatty torso with arrows in it, suggesting the body of the president, the ‘impeach-mint project with impeach-worthy phrases on mint coins and tissue boxes with phrases highlighting fake news. There was also a stunning booth of artworks curated by the Bennett Sisters, as well as a booth showcasing a tarot card-inspired ceramic sculpture head by Roxanne Jackson.
