Kristin-Lee Moolman is a Johannesburg-based photographer known for representing the new African aesthetic, having grown up before the end of apartheid and capturing the creative zeitgeist in her hometown.
With stylish fashion shoots to intimate portraits and fun group shots, Moolman has shot models like Shanelle Nyasiase in Nairobi and Hauwa Dauda Asingar in New Orleans, and you can find her work published in Vogue, Candy Magazine, L’officiel Hommes Germany, Rollacoaster and King Kong, among others.

Her colorful, pop photography style is a bold statement in the sometimes stuffy region of South Africa and she told Dazed her work is “a celebration of people and a utopian approach to the future.”
