Forget Cat Memes, a New Dog Museum Is Opening in New York

You’d think with internet culture that a cat museum would descend upon us.
Think again. Opening feb 8 in New York City, the Museum of the Dog is the must-see for all canine enthusiasts.

The opening exhibit features 300 paintings of dogs made over the past 200 years, and a bunch of quirky sculptures, interactive games and of course, a portrait of former First Lady Barbara Bush’s dog sitting outside the White House.
There is also a bronze sculpture of Smoky, the Yorkie that served in the Second World War, and a portrait of King Edward’s dog Caesar. Spot Queen Elizabeth’s dogs here, too.

Sadly, pets are not allowed in the museum!
