The famed daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, Frances Bean Cobain, is showing paintings at the new Other People’s Children project space in Los Angeles (with part of the proceeds going to Everytown for Gun Safety). With paintings that are inspired by her mom’s tattoos (one of an angel) and a dollop of sparkles, her abstract pieces are divine to look at. Painting is a bit like cooking to Cobain, who has a dream of creating a comic book cookbook. But why? “I’ve never seen a comic book cookbook, so why not?” she tells W. Catch the show until April 13.
