Galeries Lafayette is one of the most legendary European department stores and their flagship in Paris does not fail to impress. But now the brand (which has a revenue of €3.8 billion) is turning to art and gourmet food to bring in a new high-end clientele. Next winter, the brand opens their first Italian food emporium called Eataly. The three-storey food hall which will include a lavish produce market, countless cafes and over 800 Italian wines. It’ll also feature an exhibition tower made of glass, which will host art exhibitions and performances. Until the final unveiling, it’ll cost €12 million in remodeling. Till then, we can’t wait to see what they’re up to.
