Business of Fashion broke the news that shattered the hearts of anyone whose has ever watched The September Issue: Grace Coddington is stepping down from her role as creative director of American Vogue. 74-year-old Coddington—she of the massive, flaming red hair and the balls to stand up to Anna Wintour—will continue to collaborate with the mag on select shoots, and there are currently no plans to immediately fill her role.
