You may recognised Georgia O’Keeffe by her stunning watercolour depictions of nature, flowers, and landscapes of the American West. What you may not know however, is that the artist was quite the foodie. A new book has recently been published, featuring O’Keefee’s recipes illustrated in bright coloured photographs, in which dishes are plated on rustic tablescapes.

#2 Paul Smith’s Pink Wall Most Instagrammed Wall in LA

What’s big, pink, and popular in LA right now? It’s Paul Smith’s new flagship store on Melrose Avenue. Its Barbie-pink-coloured wall is attracting a flock of visitors, families, and of course Instagram fanatics, who spend over 10 minutes to pose in front of it. It has become an Instagram phenomenon. Some are even calling the wall a “landmark”.

Victoria Miro Gallery will be opening a new space in Venice on May 10, coinciding with the preview of this year’s Venice Biennale. The venue will be located in the former Galleria il Capricorno in the San Marco district.

Italian fashion label Gucci will pay a bill of 2 million euros for Uffizi Gallery’s Boboli Gardens restoration. In exchange, the luxury brand will host a catwalk show at Palazzo Pitti’s Galleria Palatina – an unprecedented event inside the space on May 29.
