Moscow is slowly gaining its recognition within the art community, bringing superstar’ shows to the Garage Museum (remember Murakami last autumn?) run by the art-collector and philanthropist Dasha Zhukova, the COSMOSCOW Art Fair and soon by the V-A-C Foundation, opening in Autumn 2019 in a former GES-2, completely redesigned by Renzo Piano.
Apart from those institutions, the Russian capital has its very own heroes who are actively working towards changing the art community and bringing it to global awareness. Meet the 10 brightest and under-30 (ok, or slightly above) art professionals from Moscow and make sure to follow them straight away – you couldn’t have any better guides to the scene.

Besides, among the artists, with whom I have gladly collaborated, it is worth mentioning Sveta Shuvaeva, Mikhail Tolmachev, Ilya Fedotov-Fedorov, and Ivan Gorshkov.
