We finally say goodbye to the disaster 2016 was and greet 2017 with open arms and with a clean slate. Last year, too many Hollywood and celebrities icons were taken away from us – most recently on Christmas day (of all days) George Michael, then Carrie Fisher on 27th, followed by her mother Debbie Reynolds a day after. Nevertheless, we hope you celebrated NYE in style and have listed your resolutions for the New Year. Mine usually remain the same considering I never accomplish any of them, which amounts to a significant amount of guilt and self-loathing, which I remedy by eating cake.

Shepard Fairey will be collaborating with Blondie’s Debbie Harry on the artist’s new OBEY clothing line. This new woman-infused fashion collection is expected to be released this fall, and will coincide with the 40 year anniversary of Blondie’s debut at CBGB nightclub in New York.
#3 Hong Kong to Have Another New Museum
Hong Kong will have its own branch of the famous museum, Beijing Palace Museum set to be installed in the West Kowloon Cultural District, joining Hong Kong’s upcoming contemporary art museum M+. The Hong Kong Jockey Club will be funding the project with a contribution of USD 450 million, demonstrating a developing cultural tie between Mainland China and Hong Kong.
