Position Overview
The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of
business operations, HR, and legal functions, ensuring that ArtXX/Weng Contemporary
achieves its strategic goals. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented leader with a
proven track record of managing complex challenges and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Business Operations Leadership
● Ensure efficient operations across administration, logistics, marketing, and finance.
● Optimize processes and implement cost-effective strategies.
Human Resources Management
● Recruit, train, and mentor staff, ensuring a motivated and high-performing team.
● Develop and maintain training manuals and documentation to preserve institutional
knowledge.
● Step in to support departments or employees during transitions or absences,
ensuring smooth operations.

Legal and Compliance
● Prepare contracts and official documents, collaborating with legal counsel when
necessary.
● Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Leadership and Representation
● Represent the company in key negotiations, partnerships, and events.
● Lead major initiatives, including organizing events such as the Annual General
Meeting (AGM).

Skills & Requirements
● Experience: 3+ years in a leadership role within sales, operations, or business
development, preferably in the art, luxury goods market or e-commerce.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related
field (MBA preferred).
● Skills:
○ Strong operational management and process optimization skills.
○ Proven ability to drive sales and develop strategic partnerships.
○ Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
○ Familiarity with contract drafting and basic Swiss legal compliance.
○ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
● EU passport or Swiss work permit
● Fluent English, German desirable
● Strong passion for art market
