Established in 2014 in Zug, Switzerland, Weng Contemporary (www.wengcontemporary.com) with its showroom in Zug and e-commerce services offers a curated selection of artworks by leading contemporary artists such as Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Alex Katz, Ai Weiwei, El Anatsui and many others.

Our international team consists of experts from the art, luxury and tech sectors. We value an ambitious and fast-paced work environment, driven by the constant need to develop our business and transform the art market together.

As a trainee, you will support us in all areas that are necessary to run a dynamic art company while developing your skills and art market knowledge.

We are looking for a well-organized and detail-oriented person, with a strong interest in the economic part of the art market including artwork sales and administration.

Key responsibilities:

• General office administration and logistics support
• Assisting senior team members with business development and sales administration
• Assisting with marketing and social media content creation
(video making, editing and in-house photography, art copywriting)
• Artworks database management
• Event organisation and support

Competencies and requirements:

• Swiss work permit or EU passport required
• Business and commercial-oriented attitude
• Strong interest in contemporary art market/ art logistics and administration / digital marketing / tech & finance
• Microsoft Office and Computer literacy (good Excel skills)
• Excellent written and spoken English, German desirable
• Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Première desirable
• High attention to details and precision
• Creative team player with a positive and proactive attitude
• Comfortable to commute to the workplace on a daily basis

Position Type:

12-months internship in our Zug and Zurich premises in Switzerland. Possibility to grow within the company.
