Established in 2014 in Zug, Switzerland, Weng Contemporary/ArtXX AG (www.wengcontemporary.com) is part of Weng Fine Art AG, a global art trading and e-commerce company. We offer a curated selection of artworks by leading contemporary artists such as Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Alex Katz, Ai Weiwei, El Anatsui and many others.
Our international team consists of experts from the art, luxury and digital sectors. As a trainee, you will support us in all areas that are necessary to run a dynamic and successful company and you will grow daily with your tasks.
We are looking for a well-organized and detail-oriented person, with a strong interest in art administration and logistics. As a new member of the team, you will support us in all areas that are necessary to run dynamic and successful company and you will grow daily with your tasks.
Key responsibilities:
· Assisting senior team members with daily operations
· Artworks database management
· Sales and operations support (databases, shipping, quality checks)
· General office administration and logistics support
· Event organisation and support
Competencies and requirements:
· EU passport required
· Strong interest in contemporary art market / logistics / administration and operations
· Microsoft Office and Computer literacy
· Excellent written and spoken skills in English and German
· High attention to details and organisation skills
· Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
· Willingness to learn and grow within and with the company
· Comfortable to commute to the workplace on a daily basis
· Business and commercial-oriented attitude
Position Type:
12-months international internship in our premises in Monheim (near Düsseldorf) in Germany and in Zug (near Zurich) in Switzerland. Possibility to grow within the company!
Starting date: ASAP or to be discussed.
