About Us:
Windsor Gallery is a dynamic contemporary art space committed to championing African creativity, cultivating new collectors, and building meaningful connections between artists, audiences, and institutions. With locations in Abuja, Lagos, and Abidjan, our galleries are hubs for innovation, cultural exchange, and artistic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day gallery operations and exhibition logistics
- Liaise with artists, curators, and partners to deliver impactful programming
- Lead visitor engagement, tours, and public events
- Manage inventory, artwork handling, and sales support
- Coordinate installations and ensure high presentation standards
- Supervise and support gallery staff and interns
- Support marketing and communications initiatives
Key Competencies:
- Strong event planning and management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to take ownership, be proactive, and seize opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build networks and relationships with key figures in the art, culture, and business communities
- Well-spoken, articulate, and professionally presentable
- A natural team leader with strong problem-solving abilities
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in gallery management, museum management, collection management, luxury brand management or arts administration
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Knowledge of contemporary African art and the Lagos art scene
- A background in art history, visual arts, cultural management, or related fields
- Passionate, proactive, and detail-oriented
