JOB OVERVIEW

SGS College have an exciting opportunity for two Art History Lecturers at our Queen’s Road campus (Bristol School of Art).

Part-Time

Hours: 7.4 hours per week (2x Positions available)

Salary: £4,784.40 to £6,186.60 per annum

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Modules include: theories & methodologies of Art History; spaces & contexts of consumption for art and design; representations of the body and the land
  • Delivery face-to-face and use of Microsoft Teams

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in relevant discipline
  • A proven aptitude for teaching & experience of teaching Art History/Visual Culture
  • Expertise in an area of art history & familiarity with existing literature/research in the field
  • Experience coordinating/leading undergraduate modules

Expected Interview Date: Tuesday 30th November 2021

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Disclosure Certificate, Enhanced with Children’s Barred list check, as a requirement of the job.
