Associate, Individual Giving (Regular Full-Time)
Annual Giving
The Associate, Individual Giving is responsible for the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of $1,000+ annual gifts and/or membership dues from a portfolio of annual donors and prospects, as well as donor stewardship within their assigned Annual Giving groups. Working as part of a larger Annual Giving team responsible for growing both unrestricted and restricted annual revenue for LACMA, the Associate works to strategically advance donors in their engagement with LACMA through excellent stewardship and thoughtful, well-planned programming activities. The Associate serves as a liaison to Curatorial staff and as a subject matter resource for members of the Annual Giving groups.
Responsibilities
- Meets annual fundraising goals, showing growth over time, from a portfolio of annual donors and prospects, as outlined by the Director of Individual Giving
- Works in close collaboration with Curatorial, Annual Giving, and Events colleagues to plan and execute an annual series of patron programs
- A primary contact for, and actively engages with, current and prospective members during patron programs
- Cultivates and solicits new donors and develops relationships with current donors
- Oversees prospecting campaigns and conducts prospecting activities with curators and other development colleagues
- Helps identify potential major gift prospects from within portfolio and works with development colleagues to move donors up the pipeline
- Oversees each assigned council’s membership lists, renewals, gift processing, acknowledgments, and member actions/plans within the database
- Drafts donor correspondence, invitations, and promotional materials
- Provides general administrative support with office functions, phone calls, and mail documentation
- Works closely with the Administrative Assistant to accomplish routine tasks
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- All other duties and projects, as assigned

- The expected hourly for this Los Angeles, CA based position is $25.00 – $26.45, subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA’s comprehensive benefits package, including pension plan.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of administrative experience, with an emphasis on event planning, budgeting, fundraising, and organizing printed materials are required

Base salary
$25/hr – $26.45/hr
