Partner Acquisition:
- Thoughtful formulation of partnership proposals and drafting of contracts, term sheets, and other client-facing material
- Contribution to new business development strategies in tandem with local and global colleagues
- Proactive research and knowledge-sharing on sponsorships and partnerships in the region and globally, landscape and opportunity analysis
Account and Project Management:
- Implementation of sponsor/partner benefits at the Art Basel shows and digital platforms
- Successful client relationship management and key account management for multiple accounts simultaneously, and across time zones, as required
- Ensuring continuity/consistency of services for global partners and overall partner satisfaction and complete contract fulfillment
Operational and Administrative:
- Management of partner activity from concept to execution onsite at the Art Basel shows
- Guaranteed and qualitative delivery of all sponsorship benefits for assigned accounts
- Support to partners regarding show processes and procedures, and local advice
- Operational management related to partner activations onsite: regulations, logistics, buildout, permitting, etc.
- Post-show reports and debriefs
- Financial controlling where related to partner fees
- Coordination among multiple department touchpoints where related to Partner communication, activation or overall benefits delivery (Marketing, PR, Digital, VIP, Operations, Galleries)
- Overall administrative process handling (showkits, forms, databases, internal reports etc)
- Overall support to the Regional Head of Partnerships Europe, as needed
Your profile:
- Bachelor required (Arts Administration, Marketing/Communications or related field), Master appreciated
- Complete English fluency, German and French is a plus
- Minimum 5 years experience in: Sales, fundraising, marketing and/or partnerships in arts, culture, or any relevant industry. Demonstrated success in project management and/or event management. Experience working in a global environment useful. Familiarity with legal contracts and contractual language a plus
- Established knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and experience with CRM and database software a plus (SalesForce)
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in social media, overall digital fluency
- Client-oriented, confident, quick learner, independent, fast, highly motivated, optimist, ‘can do’ person, problem solver who takes initiative. Excellent team spirit, highly driven, highly organized and detail oriented, and able to execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel periodically, work overtime and abroad as needed
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge and interest in visual arts
