We are seeking talented book designers and illustrators to join our fast-growing community of top talent in publishing. Reedsy’s vetted group of freelancers have worked on a range of widely acclaimed novels, such as The Hunger Games, Originals (Adam Grant), and His Dark Materials series (Phillip Pullman).

As a professional on Reedsy, you will receive requests by authors that need their book designed or illustrated. You will be matched to projects that are a good fit for your style and preferred genres, so you only receive projects in your area of interest. You can manage your availability and accept/decline any project. You will work where and when you want, and set your own rates.

By working directly with authors, you will enjoy plenty of creative freedom and be able to advise them directly on the best solution for their book.

Our selection requirements are:

• Full-time professional experience in design or illustration.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience.
• A strong portfolio of great-quality work.

Experience with a recognized publishing company is not necessary, but will be positively valued.
