JOB OVERVIEW

Artsy is looking for a detail-oriented, methodical and motivated team player to provide critical back office support for our Catalog Team. The Catalog Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining listings for our Curated Auctions. This is a part-time (approx. 20 hours per week) temporary (6-month) contract role. Artsy is creating the most art obsessed, customer centric marketplace for fine art, and this role will help us scale our auctions pre-sale process. The Catalog Coordinator will support our catalogers by maintaining auction trackers, efficiently and accurately transferring listings information across databases, and helping create auction landing pages and lot pages. Additional administrative support as needed.This part-time role reports into the Catalog and Authentication lead on the Catalog and Authentication team. This team is responsible for ensuring that all listings on Artsy are accurate, authentic, compelling and compliant with our marketplace policies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Compile information from various sources to update auction trackers for use across multiple teams
  • Accurately and efficiently upload artwork images and details to our database
  • Communicate internally with our team via email, slack and in person or via video conference
  • Coordinate with other teams and with image editors as needed to ensure artwork details meet Artsy’s quality standards
  • Assist with general tracking, organization and administrative tasks as needed

Who You Are:

  • Detail oriented and has experience meeting tight deadlines
  • Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Knowledgeable of or interested in learning about art cataloging
  • Organized and excellent cross-team collaborator
