JOB OVERVIEW

Salary Range: Up to $18.5000 Hourly

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Perform administrative role for the Head of Public Programming and the Manager of Art and Wellness to ensure that organizational functions and programs proceed efficiently.

DUTIES:

● Assist with coordinating details for adult and family programs, including gathering website information, drafting program descriptions, and collecting images for promotion

● Submit and manage the data collection process for all Adult, Family, and Art and Wellness programs

● Assist with in-person and virtual programs as they are running live, managing chats and communicating with speakers

● Assist with the live streaming of programs in person and virtually, and ensures that recorded programs are uploaded

● Work across the museum to collect information for programs, coordinating with curators, marketing staff, registrars, digital experience and educators

● Manages programming calendar, working cross departmentally to ensure that all public programs include accurate up to date details

● Assist with contracts and pay requisites for participants or speakers for programs

● Assist in coordinating monthly programming meetings (departmental and interdepartmental), including calendaring, set‐up, AV, RSVP and liaising, note‐taking, and follow‐up tasks

● Provides other departmental administrative support as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Bachelor’s degree preferred

● Art history and museum background helpful

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

● Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and handle numerous assignments concurrently

● Administrative experience with excellent office skills, including data entry, database/spreadsheets

● Experience with digital tools and web‐based software

● Very flexible; highly effective team member and collaborator with strong interpersonal and communication skills

● Proven customer‐service skills

● Demonstrated ability to create and maintain systems

● Able to work some evenings and weekend hours
