It’s grown a lot since then; goop is a lifestyle platform encompassing curated products and content about beauty, wellness, fashion, food, and home. About You

You are a marketing professional with a passion for storytelling across multiple platforms. You enjoy the idea of helping to take goop’s digital presence to the next level. You like to think big picture, but also be in the details creating engaging content for multiple platforms.  You can think creatively, but also analyze performance to strategize for future.

About The Role

The Creative Strategist will join our dynamic creative team, collaborating in our new marketing initiatives. Our ideal candidate has past success in the direct-to-consumer space, ideally with CPG and UGC.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Creative Storytelling: Ideate and script your video concepts in a clear voice to tell a specific story about a product to a specific audience, scaling what works well and nixing what doesn’t
  • Data Analysis: Aggregate and synthesize Facebook Ads Manager data and apply what the metrics are saying to come up with creative concepts that will move the needle and capture the right audience.
  • Strategize: Interpret data reflecting consumer behavior across the paid social ecosystem to iterate existing videos, continually optimizing performance across multiple metrics
  • Project management: Work across multiple vertical (beauty/fashion) and with a team of directors, editors, and producers. Able to juggle 5 concepts in pre-production at the same time as 6 other projects in post-production.
  • Goal: Make informed decisions to capture an audience and convert them into customers

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, Marketing, or a strongly related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience using Facebook Ads Manager
  • A portfolio of digital content you have helped create (or created yourself), and the ability to talk about the strategy that informed each piece in the portfolio
  • 3+ years’ experience in Entertainment marketing, advertising, or content creation
  • 3+ years of experience as a creative builder and maker of stories
  • Combination of excellent conceptual and copywriting skills
  • Able to combine streamlined copywriting and visual narratives into one medium
  • Paid social or direct response work examples, especially in the entertainment space
  • Facebook and Instagram product knowledge is required, TikTok is a big plus
  • Ability to bring ideas to life on a whiteboard, big stage presentation, or finished content


  • Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 base salary + Equity. This is a full-time exempt role. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
