We are looking for an Event Project Manager to join our team in Basel. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative and fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences.
Your Impact
As an Event Project Manager, you will play a key role in designing, coordinating, and executing world-class international events that bring our vision to life. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and a diverse network of stakeholders to ensure our events deliver an exceptional and seamless experience for all involved.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Event Strategy & Execution: Lead the planning and delivery of key events, ensuring smooth execution within established timelines and objectives.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with artists, galleries, partners, and internal departments to bring creative concepts to life.
• Project & Budget Management: Oversee timelines, budgets, logistics, and track project performance while maintaining the highest quality and sustainability standards.
• Workstream Leadership: Lead and support specific workstreams such as invitation management, liaising with speakers and award winners, and coordinating key event elements.
• On-Site Leadership: Take charge during events, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
• Vendor & Supplier Negotiation: Secure favorable terms and optimize resources by negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of trends in the cultural and events sector by continuously evaluating and refining formats to drive innovation and ensure sustained success.
What You Bring

• Experience: At least 5 years in event or project management, ideally within the arts, culture, design, or luxury industries.
• Language Skills: English fluency is required; German and/or other languages are a plus.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, project management software, and digital event solutions.
• Creative & Detail-Oriented: You balance big-picture thinking with meticulous execution.
• Agile & Solution-Oriented: You thrive in fast-paced environments and find creative solutions to challenges.
