Post Date: 27 Jan 2022

JOB OVERVIEW

Salary: £22,086 – £23,478 pro rata, per annum

Contract: Permanent contract up to 30 hours a week (working pattern flexible)

Are you passionate about culture, organised, and enthusiastic about developing Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery in Carlisle into one of the north’s best museums? Are you a great communicator with a can-do attitude, who possesses great attention to detail, and can multi-task? Then we want to hear from you.

Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery in Carlisle is a regionally significant museum with world class collections. We believe that culture fundamentally enriches people’s lives and so we use our collections to tell stories, to question, engage people and to inspire learning for life.

We are looking to recruit to a pivotal role in support of the Director and the Trust Board. We require a good planner and coordinator who can assist the Board and Senior Leadership Team and work across the organisation managing meetings, events, and complex diaries.

You will be a proactive individual with a strong belief in your ability to make a positive impact, and a strong commitment to team working.

See job description and person specification for more details.

You will be notified by email on Tuesday 22 February 2022 if you have been selected for interview.

Interviews will take place online or in person on Monday 28 February 2022. If you have any further questions or would like an informal discussion please contact Andrew Mackay, Director via [email protected].

We believe that diversity and equality within our workplace, programmes and in our outlook is crucial. We therefore particularly welcome applications from candidates that are under-represented at Tullie House Museum and within the heritage sector, including black and minority ethnic candidates and/or candidates with a disability.
