Job Description

Freelance bookkeeper required for art gallery in central London to work with a small team one day a week on a flexible basis.

Knowledge of Xero, Artlogic, margin scheme and temporary admission an advantage.

£150-£175 a day rate. 

Job Requirements

• Artworld experience 
• Xero and Artlogic experience 
• Understanding of import/ export regulations
• Knoweledge of margin scheme and temporary import
• Anti-money laundering laws

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day to day bookkeeping and acount reconcilliation using Xero software
• Oversee accounts payable – processing incoming invoices, set up BACS runs, authorise payments
• Oversee accounts receivable, generate sales invoices, monitor and process incoming multi currency payments
• Quarterly VAT returns 
• Management accounts and cash flow 
• Oversee annual audit and YE financial reporting
