To support the gallery, max goelitz is looking for a committed working student as gallery assistant (16-20 hours/week) at the Munich location from July/August 2023.

Your responsibilities:
– Support in the coordination of exhibitions and fairs in cooperation with the in cooperation with the gallery team and the artists
– Database maintenance: Structured entry and updating of artworks and contacts on Artlogic, synchronisation with the Artsy sales platform and maintenance of the data service
– Support in the coordination of exhibition renovations: Research and communication with producers
– Guided tours through the exhibitions and collaboration at events

Profile:
– Strong interest in contemporary art
– Very good knowledge of German & English (written & spoken) – Quick to learn new systems: knowledge of MAC OS
and Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign) advantageous
– Willingness to be proactively involved in the gallery and
Conscientiousness in data maintenance
– Willingness to work weekends and evenings approximately every 6 weeks evenings
– For the working student position, you should be enrolled at a university/academy
