In ARTE Generali we are looking for the Head of ARTE Generali Italia.
You will lead a dynamic and passionate team, driving the profitable development of our operations in Italy and ensuring alignment with ARTE Generali’s strategic goals.
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for achieving financial targets, enhancing team engagement, and delivering insightful management reports across business lines, geographies, and channels.

Main responsibilities:
Commercial Management:
- Develop and monitor the commercial strategy to ensure sustainable growth
- Manage and strengthen relationships with brokers and agents
- Lead client engagement initiatives
- Coordinate closely with the GC&C commercial organization in Italy
Communication and Marketing:
- Co-develop and implement the Communication and Marketing strategy
- Plan and manage Art-focused events
- Drive targeted communication initiatives to support business objectives
- Cultivate meaningful connections within the Art community
Underwriting Oversight:
- Supervise the Underwriting pipeline to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance on Underwriting decisions
Claims Oversight:
- Monitor the end-to-end Claims process
- Oversee Claims management practices
- Engage directly with clients to support a positive claims experience
Team Management:
- Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular progress evaluations
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback, professional development, and team engagement
P&L Management:
- Take full ownership of the profit and loss statement, including revenue, direct costs, and loss ratios
- Lead the budgeting process and ensure ongoing financial performance monitoring
Executive Team Participation:
- Actively contribute to the ARTE Generali Management Team
- Collaborate across departments and functions to drive strategic initiatives
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and ad hoc initiatives
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- MA or Engineering Degree
- +15 years of experience
- Proficiency in P&C Insurance
- Good knowledge of digital technology
- Knowledge of Art is a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level). Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
