Recruitment: Two senior leadership roles HEAD OF PEOPLE and HEAD OF FINANCE
The Courtauld is an internationally renowed centre for the teaching and research of art history and a major public gallery. It is home to one of the world’s great art collections, located in the magnificent historic setting of Somerset House in central London.
We are recruiting for two exciting roles Head of People and Head of Finance to join our Senior Leadership Team.
Head of People £70K – 80k per annum depending on experience
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be instrumental in setting the strategic direction for our people. You will be responsible for creating and delivering on the People strategy. You will provide expert HR advice and best practice to the organisation and use your experience to shape our people engagement, performance, well-being and culture.
The role provides the opportunity to contribute toward exciting strategic HR projects, including the reform of our reward and recognition framework, improving the functionality of HR services, systems, and processes. The Head will lead the review of business workflows and process re-engineering to support the implementation of a new HR and Payroll System.
As HR expert, you will also support the review of people policies and procedures, performance appraisal, recruitment, reward and recognition frameworks, employee engagement, employee relations and strategic workforce planning.
Head of Finance starting from £90k per annum depending on experience)
As Head of Finance you will be a dynamic, enthusiastic senior finance professional with strong technical skills and outstanding leadership qualities. You will be advisor to the Märit Rausing Director, the Chief Finance and Strategy Officer as well as other relevant internal stakeholders, and key in supporting the development of the short, medium and long term financial strategy of the organisation.
The Courtauld is accountable to the Office of Students, the Head of Finance has responsibility for ensuring that The Courtauld complies with its statutory and regulatory financial obligations. Adopting the principle of continuous improvement, you will strive to review and adapt the embedded business processes to ensure they support the current and future organisational needs. Leading a team of 6 you will bring a mentoring approach to management with a supportive hands-on attitude.
The onboarding of the Head of Finance is pivotal in the digital transformation journey of the finance department, you will be proficient in paperless systems and keen to explore the latest technical solutions for finance processes, reporting and data control. Your experience of evaluating financial systems and implementation will be essential to the role.
