NOTAGALLERY, founded in 2022 by artist Ivan Gette, challenges the traditional white-cube gallery model. It creates a dynamic space where artists from all disciplines can connect, collaborate, and support one another.
More than just a gallery, NOTAGALLERY is a cultural hub featuring artist studios, a gallery space, regular events, and brand collaborations.
A visit to NOTAGALLERY is not just about viewing art, it’s about experiencing it, becoming part of a creative community, and immersing yourself in its energy.
We provide a platform for emerging artists to enter the international art market. For art enthusiasts, we offer a role in our creative team. We are currently seeking an intern (20-40h/week) to support our daily operations for a period of three to six months.
About the Project: ART EMBASSY
Art Embassy is the upcoming flagship project of NOTAGALLERY, launching in September 2025 at Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin—one of the most symbolically charged locations in European history. This temporary exhibition transforms a Cold War border site into a cultural embassy for contemporary art.
The project reclaims the concept of “embassy” not as a state institution, but as a space of artistic resistance, visibility, and international dialogue. It invites artists from around the world to reflect on themes such as borders, identity, freedom, exile, and transformation. Art Embassy is a platform for exchange, a laboratory of ideas, and a living intervention in one of Berlin’s most visited historical zones.
Interns will have the unique opportunity to participate in the development and execution of this ambitious and highly visible project, gaining first-hand experience across curatorial, production, communication, and public engagement processes.
You will be part of a young, dynamic, and mission-driven team that values creative thinking, collaboration, and bold cultural experimentation.
