About the role
The Junior Team Experience Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional visitor experiences. Reporting directly to the Museum Experience Manager, you will coordinate the Museum Experience Team, oversee daily logistics, and help cultivate an inspiring, well-organised, and welcoming environment.
In this dynamic and hands-on role, you’ll take ownership of tasks such as staff scheduling and team training while collaborating closely with other departments to optimise our processes. Key Responsibilities
- Museum Experience Team Coordination
- Plan and schedule staff for daily operations, events, and other special occasions.
- Solve day-to-day scheduling challenges, including last-minute adjustments.
- Coordinate extra cleaning and security requirements.
- Address all staff needs by ensuring access to necessary supplies, tools, and resources to support their roles effectively.
- Proactively gather, evaluate, and act on feedback to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
- Support the training and ongoing development of new and existing team members.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and feedback to the team, ensuring operational excellence.
- Develop your leadership skills while helping the team grow and succeed.
- Cover supervisor or host shifts as needed, deepening firsthand knowledge of operations.
- Act as an on-call contact during weekends, sharing this responsibility with the Museum Experience Manager and Producer.
- Manage incoming inquiries via the info@nxtmuseum email alongside supervisors.
Experience & Skills
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with a team-player attitude.
- Calm under pressure, with the ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Fluent in both English and Dutch.
- Independent thinker with a positive, service-oriented approach.
- Passion for art, culture, and technology.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable, both in mindset and work methods.
