Roseberys Fine Art Auctioneers is a specialist fine art and antiques auction house and valuers, located in the heart of South London. Our team of world-renowned experts offer both buyers and sellers a range of specialist art market services and a calendar of over 30 specialist auctions a year covering all areas of Asian Arts, Islamic & Indian Art, Jewellery & Watches, Old Master, 18th & 19th Century Art, Modern British & Contemporary British Art, Urban & Contemporary Prints & Multiples,20th Century Art & Design, Impressionist, Modern, Post War & Contemporary Art and Decorative Arts, Fine & Decorative sales including Silver, Ceramics, Works of Art and Furniture. In addition to our specialist auctions, we also offer single-owner collection sales.

This role is a full-time position and would suit a highly-motivated marketing graduate who is interested in working in the arts. This role will offer the candidate the opportunity to learn a wide range of valuable skills in both marketing and the fine art auction industry.

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • General administration and assisting the Marketing Manager
  • Upload auction catalogue onto all websites and the upkeep of text and image changes 
  • Help to increase social media engagement
  • Assisting with keeping the website up to date and refreshed 
  • Support the Marketing Manager on press outreach and incoming press queries
  • Design both printed and digital adverts 
  • Design and implement emails in Mailchimp and Artbrain and build on email audience lists 
  • Collect marketing statistics and help compile bi-annual reports on the auction house as a whole and after each sale
  • Archive printed and digital marketing and press collateral
  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager on budget tracking and produce accurate summary of total spend at the end of marketing campaigns 
  • Assist with writing copy for all marketing collateral, including weekly artist spotlight articles, press releases, brochures, catalogues, website and templates for letters, emails, and websites under the direction of the Marketing Manager
  • Uploading articles onto the website, ensuring SEO is actioned 
  • Assisting with organising and executing events 
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager and freelancers with creative direction on marketing campaigns, including working alongside the photographers on marketing shoots

Key requirements (qualifications and skills)

  • Marketing graduate or similar field
  • Basic knowledge of Google Ads, analytics, Facebook and Instagram Ad center
  • Adobe Suite skills, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
  • Video editing skills desirable
  • Interest in the arts preferred
