JOB OVERVIEW

Established in 1988, The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF) is widely regarded as the world’s preeminent organization for fine art, antiques, and design. TEFAF runs two fairs internationally—TEFAF Maastricht, which covers 7,000 years of art history, and TEFAF New York, focused on modern and contemporary art and design. As an international art fair, we are always interested in meeting future colleagues who are prepared to contribute their talents, ambitions, and inspiration to our teams.

Marketing Coordinator

This role will support the Marketing team at TEFAF, contributing to initiatives including programming, editorial, design, email, social media, and more. Potential responsibilities include:

TEFAF Programming

Assist in execution of TEFAF Talks (panel discussions at both fairs), Meet the Experts (stand talks at both fairs), and the TEFAF Summit (annual in Maastricht), including topic and speaker research, coordination of run-of-show, website support, and on-site assistance during the fair.

TEFAF Editorial

Contribute to print and digital editorial initiatives by researching subjects, writing and interviewing for TEFAF Stories articles, proofreading and editing articles, assisting with image research and licensing needs, and coordinating writers. This role will also contribute to TEFAF Online, the digital companion to each TEFAF fair by proofing and editing content provided by TEFAF exhibitors.

Marketing Support

Support needs across newsletters and social media by writing and designing assets, coordinating across teams, and assisting with maintenance of calendars and planning.

Qualifications

  • Background or interest in arts and culture
  • Relevant 1-3 years of work experience
  • 5 days a week, 40 hours a week
  • Based in or near Amsterdam, role requires office presence
  • Near native English speaker
  • Experience in writing articles. Previously published articles are a plus
  • Event or project management experience
  • Available to travel to Maastricht and New York during fair periods
