Operations Manager of the Porto Arts Club
Job Description
As the Operations Manager of Porto Arts Club, your focus will lie on day-to-day operational supervision, smaller conflicts within the team and questions of guests, to ensure the most excellent guest experience for the Club’s members. Coordination with the General Manager
and PR manager for events is essential in this role, together with the innovation of recurring processes and tasks.
Essential functions and responsibilities
● Supervision of daily operations at the Club, training of employees
● First contact person for employees, suppliers and guests when questions arise
● Team management (regarding questions, concerns or small conflicts within the team)
● Close collaboration and clear communication with General Manager about larger-scale
matters and situations and with PR manager about marketing and events
● Daily financial transactions (ordering of supply, payment by guests)
● Stock management and overview and administrative duties
● Helping out with operational tasks when needed in busy periods
● Idea generation and imple
● mentation to innovate processes around the Club
Requirements
● Min. 2 years of operational experience in hospitality industry (hotel/F&B), ideally with
managerial experience
● Bachelor’s degree in hospitality-related study is appreciated
● Fluent in Portuguese and English. French or German would be a plus.
● Interest in different areas of responsibility as tasks can change throughout different departments
