JOB OVERVIEW

Artsy is seeking a Post Sale Associate to assist Artsy’s rapidly expanding marketplace.The Post Sale Associate will report to the Marketplace Strategy and Operations team which powers the Artsy marketplace with operations and client support. Secondary-market sales are an expanding segment of Artsy’s business investment and aim to create more liquidity in the market. This enables auction partners, collectors and dealers to sell and rotate their artworks more broadly and with the best outcome.The Post Sale Associate will provide invoicing, fulfillment, and art handling support and work in conjunction with the Trust & Safety, Accounting, Specialist / Advisory and Catalog teams to create a seamless consigning and collecting experience. They will be responsible for a high volume of personalized and proactive communication, follow-up and data entry and will be vital to Artsy’s client support experience. This role requires some weekend hours, and some on-site work to receive and handle shipments is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with accounting to remit seller and vendor payments, assess taxes and invoice buyers
  • Provide buyers, sellers and shipping partners with updates and status changes for purchases and consignments
  • Monitor auction and private sale invoicing and shipping progress to ensure listing agreement and payment timelines are met
  • Oversee and execute fulfillment of domestic and international shipping orders
  • Work with network of shippers to source shipping estimates
  • Coordinate occasional delivery, pick-up, inspection and viewing of works on-site, including art handling
  • Work across teams to continually improve the invoicing and fulfillment experience at Artsy

Who You Are

  • Experience with Google Suite for Business
  • Comfortable managing communication and outreach across a large target client-base
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive customer information
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, metric-driven role and team
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail
  • You currently live and are authorized to work in New York City
