Role
We are looking for a seasoned and self-directed Product Designer to join our team. As the primary designer on the team, this generalist should feel comfortable owning and leading the design efforts for all the web and native app experiences.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Be a champion of high quality and user centric design
- Partner with product and engineering to define and implement new responsive website and mobile app features
- Maintain and contribute to an evolving design system.
- Utilize data to iterate on existing features to improve the current platform
- Influence the future of the platform through individual contributions, as well as hosting cross functional workshops and fostering an environment of co-creation
- Collaborate with the product, data, engineering, and marketing teams to align on business goals.
- Anticipate user needs and create design solutions that align with our mission
- Translate concepts into polished design files and prototypes to solicit feedback from your peers and conduct user testing.

Qualifications
- At least six years of experience as an Product or UX Designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interaction and visual design skills
- Proficient in Figma and have experience prototyping to illustrate interaction patterns to your engineer counterparts and also conduct user research
- Strong systems thinker with experience working within, creating, and maintaining a design system
- Comfortable building products and collaborating in a remote / distributed team
- Thrives in fast paced, entrepreneurial environments; intellectually-curious problem solver who is comfortable navigating through ambiguity
- Hands-on experience owning and driving design initiatives from concept to implementation with little or no design leadership guidance
- Deep understanding of design thinking methodologies and the awareness of when to employ qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
- Experience working with a research team and the ability to conduct user research, synthesize, and make informed decisions based on your findings
